AMERICAN IDOL’S HUNTERGIRL WANTS TO LOVE THE “LONELY OUTTA YOU” WITH LATEST RELEASE AVAILABLE NOW

2022 American Idol runner-up and 2023 “Artist to Watch” (Music Mayhem), HunterGirl is currently “transcending from talented aspiring artist to make her first steps toward the big leagues,” (Billboard) today with the release of her stirring new song “Lonely Outta You.” Listen HERE.

Written by HunterGirl, Sarah Buxton and Jimmy Robbins, the concept came to HunterGirl during her time on American Idol. The idea was born from conversations with her fellow contestants – in particularly the men – who were having to do a lot of press and found it difficult to open up about their feelings. It felt lonely to her and led to a period of reflection about the prolific number of songs about guys wanting to make a girl a little less lonely, while there are none addressing the loneliness in men. Upon returning to Nashville after American Idol, Hunter went into the studio where that reflection became what is now “Lonely Outta You.”

“There are a lot of songs about guys telling girls, ‘Hey, you’re lonely, let me make you less lonely,’ and when I was thinking about that, there aren’t really songs from a girl’s perspective on this that makes the same connection,” says HunterGirl. “Everybody gets lonely sometimes. I wanted to give another perspective and tell the other side of the story.”

Praised by Country superstar Luke Bryan as the “new age Miranda Lambert” and his “favorite female voice,” “Lonely Outta You” is filled to the brim with her southernly sweet, “bright, melodic voice,” (Sweety High), her “soulful storytelling and traditional country approach” (CMT).

Deeply immersing herself in Nashville’s songwriting community whilst “building her flourishing music career (Country Now), “HunterGirl – whose chart-topping song “Red Bird” skyrocketed to No. 1 iTunes All Genre and Country and just wrapped her co-headlining tour with 2022 American Idol winner Noah Thompson – is “slated to hit the road with her unmatched talents” (CMT). Most recently opening for the award-winning Lainey Wilson at her sold-out Nashville show earlier this month, the “rising Country star (Country Now) will be hitting the road on select dates with Luke Bryan, Parmalee, Josh Turner and Luke Combs for his pre-show tailgate stage.

With her latest “Lonely Outta You” out now, the “country music songstress” with an “incredible voice” (People) and “bright future” (Hollywood Life) is ready to take 2023 by storm.
