ICYMI: NOAH THOMPSON AND HUNTERGIRL RETURN TO THE AMERICAN IDOL STAGE!

Reigning American Idol winner Noah Thompson and runner-up HunterGirl surprised fans last night, April 23, when they returned to the singing competition series for a special performance of the never-before-heard duet version of Thompson’s insanely catchy “One Day Tonight.” Soaring with Thompson’s unique fusion of country, rock and R&B-leaning vocals alongside HunterGirl’s southernly sweet, supercharged voice the song is a must listen. Listen to the new song HERE and watch the fan-favorites perform the new duet version HERE.

Written by Jared Griffin, Trannie Anderson and Brett Sheroky, produced by Jimmy Robbins, and originally released by Thompson last year during his winning Idol season, the romantic song instantly propelled to insane popularity and to No. 1 on iTunes All Genre and Country charts and is still racking up an over 1 million on-demand streams per week.

Most recently the two wrapped a wildly successful co-headlining tour in 2022, both Thompson and HunterGirl were named an “Artist to Watch” by Music Mayhem. Having now paved their own unique paths, Thompson has proven “he’s a music risk-taker not afraid to push the boundaries” (CMT), releasing his most recent “Stay” and “Make You Rich.”

Now, in tandem with his debut CMA Fest performance on Saturday, June 10 at 10:15 am/CT on the Chevy Vibes Stage,  Thompson will release his debut EP Middle Of God Knows Where on June 9, showcasing his “jaw-dropping vocal control and clear sound” that’s “destined to catapult him to stardom” (CMT). With the upcoming EP, fans can expect Thompson to stay true to himself with new songs embodying his humble deep-sewn roots while adding a rock edge into the mix.

Chronicling “her current moment of transcending from talented aspiring artist to make her first steps toward the big leagues” (Billboard),  HunterGirl just released new music post-American Idol with “Lonely Outta You” that E! News applauded as “powerful” and “Hometown Out Of Me” that CMT said perfectly showcased “her soaring vocals and superstar potential.” Most recently opening for the award-winning Lainey Wilson at her sold-out Nashville show in March, the rising songstress will be hitting the road on select dates with Luke Bryan, Parmalee, Josh Turner and Luke Combs for his pre-show tailgate stage.

A surprise gift to fans, Noah Thompson’s “One Day Tonight” featuring HunterGirl is out now. Highly anticipated, Thompson’s debut EP Middle Of God Knows Where will be available Friday, June 9, while HunterGirl is currently readying more new music to release very soon.
